Nyama Choma Recipe from Kenya

Ingredients

  1. Beef or goat meat 2 kg - cubed
  2. Salt to taste -
  3. Black pepper to taste - (Optional)
  4. Vegetable oil for grilling - (Optional)
  5. Ketchup for serving - (Optional)
  6. Salsa or kachumbari for serving - (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

  2. Season the cubed meat with salt and black pepper.

  3. Skewer the meat onto grilling sticks.

  4. Brush the skewers with vegetable oil.

  5. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally until the meat is cooked through.

  6. Serve hot with ketchup and salsa.
